Mr. Prakash Bhaggan - Executive Chairman
Mr. Bhaggan has been with the company since 1973 and was appointed Executive Chairman in 2003.
Mr. Bhaggan commenced his career with the Commercial Union Assurance Group, and has participated in extensive overseas Property and Liability courses at the College of Insurance, England and at C.T. Bowring, London. He has also participated in three (3) Risk Management Seminars in the United States. He has undergone further training at Marsh & McLennan offices in Philadelphia.
He is responsible for the broking and administration of clients' portfolios in Marine and Non-Marine Insurance. He specializes in property insurance, but has wide experience of all areas of insurance. Before taking up his present position he was a senior account executive for a wide range of industrial clients.
Mr. Ernest Johnson - Financial Controller
Mr. Shivan Bhaggan - General Manager
Mr. Bhaggan joined IBWIL as a Trainee Broker in 2004. He was appointed Director/General Manager in 2005.
Mr. Bhaggan is the holder of a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Management Studies from the University of London and a Master Business Administration (MBA) from Heriot Watt University and is pursuing the Associateship of Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) qualifications.
He handles in all aspects of Claims and the servicing of IBWIL’s largest state and private sector accounts.
Ms. Kisha Bhaggan - Accountant
Miss. Bhaggan joined IBWIL as Accountant in 2004 and was appointed Director in 2005.
Miss Bhaggan is the holder of a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Heriot Watt University and is also a Chartered Accountant (ACCA).
